Requirements for certification
Parents who completed all essential courses of Parentists Academy and participated in not less than 8 sessions of Parentist in Action groups, will be eligible to participate an accreditation assessment. Candidates who pass the test will be granted a title of Fatherist / Motherist. As all other professions do, parentists are required to ensure compliance with the code of ethics.
We dedicate to extensive delivering the concept of parentist and work closely with local and international schools in promoting Adaptive Parenting. Certified parentists will have the opportunity to work close with popular local and international schools to spread the great ideas in the community.

Ability to recognize adaptive challenge
Adaptive challenges usually lie under the surface. Parentist should be sensitive to look into the root of presenting problems and facilitate discussion on the adaptive challenges.

Identify corresponding Stakeholders
Traditional parents try to solve problem on their own. The responsibility is noble but often ineffective. Identifying key stakeholders help expand the possibilities of utilizing the power of a team.

Precision in detecting heat level
When we are dealing with an adaptive challenge, the effectiveness depends on how much we can keep our children in a learning zone, which means neither being too comfortable nor getting too panick. Parentists should be precise in determine the heat level of their child moment by moment, so that they can parent their child at the right moment, with the right tactic, by the right dosage.

Containment and Self-awareness
Knowing what to do is not equivalent to an actual execution in the reality. Managing the own emotional stability could be difficult in parenging. Parentists could demonstrate a great deal of containment and know their limitation, so that they have a capacity to save themselves out from the emotional storm.

Flexibility to go on the balcony / down to the dance floor
Adaptive parenting requires the ability to see the whole picture, as well as to keep emotionally engaged with their child. This flexibility allows parents to be kind enough for a flow of love, and to be firm enough to withstand a necessary assertiveness in the chaos.
